Where Dotof began
Our co-founder spent years as a recruitment consultant at a global recruitment consulting firm and in-house human resources business partner. She was close to both sides of every hire and saw the same pain repeat: candidates pouring effort into applications that were never seen; hiring teams buried in irrelevant CVs or waiting on applications that never came.
Meanwhile, her university mate, a Tech Lead at an international IT consultancy, was experiencing the same frustrations from the other side of the hiring process, watching talented teams struggle to identify the right people despite an abundance of applicants. They realised the future of hiring wouldn’t come from recruitment expertise or technology alone, but by bringing the two together. That led them to ask a simple question: what if human recruitment expertise and AI could finally work as one?
That question became Dotof: a smarter bridge between people looking for meaningful careers and companies searching for the right people to grow with, built for better human and business growth, together.
